Leading interior fitout company, MJM Group has teamed up with Ulster University to set a final year “design solutions” challenge for their Engineering students.
The students have been tasked with developing design solutionss for a real-time project which MJM Group is currently working on for one of their customers.

We have a first-class team of designers, engineers, joiners and technical experts who constantly push the boundaries to create that WOW factor for our customers. But sometimes fresh eyes and fresh thinking can create just another burst of inspiration. That is why we have teamed up with @Ulster University to set a final year project for their engineering students.”
Over 90 Engineering students received the scope of the project from Jude who was questioned at length by the students looking to bring their design and technical capabilities to the MJM Group challenge.
“Partnerships with education institutions are so important to bridge the gap between academia and industry and MJM Group has developed a number of strong relationships with second and third level institutions which benefits all parties involved,” adds Jude. “The project we have set the Ulster University students will certainly challenge them but it is a real project which is also challenging our own team. We are certainly looking forward to receiving the design solutions from the students.”
